  1. How can I add many members at once in Unioo's membership system?
    You can easily add many members simultaneously by uploading a CSV file with member information. Go to the members page, click "+" next to "Members," and select "Create many members." Follow the instructions and upload your file.
  2. Can I offer free membership or tiered pricing to my members?
    Yes, you can create free memberships where members can participate for free until a new billing period begins. You can also offer tiered pricing, where members pay based on the number of days they have been on the membership plan.
  3. What does the member status "Resigned" mean?
    When a member is "Resigned," it means they are no longer associated with a membership plan, but may still have outstanding payments with the association. Members in this status can still be in arrears. If the member needs to be active again at a later date, the member is reactivated instead of being created anew.
  4. How can members register their payment cards?
    When members sign up as users, they are asked to link their payment card. They must follow the steps, including authentication with MitID, to complete the payment for their membership plan.
  5. How do I avoid the error message "A user with this email already exists"?
    If you are both a board member and an association member, do not create a new user with your email. Instead, you can log in with the same login credentials you use as a board member. This avoids the error message.
  6. Can I use the public profile as a website for my association?
    Yes, the public profile functions as a mini-website for your association. You can customize it with information about the association, board members, membership plans, and events. New members can also join membership plans and buy tickets via the profile.
  7. How can I send newsletters or messages to my members?
    You can send messages to your members by selecting them all on the members page and choosing "Send messages." While Unioo does not offer advanced email newsletters, you can download member lists as CSV files for use with other newsletter programs.
  8. What do I do if I forget my password?
    If you forget your password, you can reset it by following the "Forgot password" link on the login screen. You will then receive instructions to create a new password.
  9. Can I be a member of multiple associations through Unioo with the same user account?
    Yes, you can participate in multiple associations and organizations through Unioo using the same user account. This allows you to manage and participate in different groups conveniently from one place. However, we do not recommend having multiple user profiles.
